It is an honor and great privilege for me to take a chance of chairing this impressive international academic event in the region, 49th Myanmar Orthopedic Annual Scientific Conference and 11th ASEAN Arthroplasty Association Meeting, 2017 in Novotel Hotel, Yangon, Myanmar from 9-11 November,2017.

The theme reflect collaboration, integration and participation of ASEAN countries to look forward into future. As the rapidly growing orthopaedic industries, explosion of knowledge and information communication , expansion and dissemination of innovative research and scientific evidences, the orthopaedic profession and its specialties including arthroplasty ought to adapt and change with reputable and accountable service which meet the needs of people.

I sincerely request you and welcome all of you in the region as well as around the world to be involved in this marvelous academic activities so that we learn each other and discover the realistic opportunities to improve our profession.

Yangon is the hub of business city in Myanmar and authentic city with the remnants of colonial heritages , civilized features of new buildings and mixed fascinating cultural spots with very exciting tourist attracted destinations surrounded by.

Welcome message from President Of Myanmar Orthopaedic Society

As a president of Orthopaedic Society ,
it is a great honor for me to lead the professional organization and taking responsibility as overall chair of this event in Yangon . with the rapid growing of the orthopaedic community , changing mind and desire of the public , faster development of the technology , we are struggling to overcome challenges together with our active members and with collaborative efforts of our ASEAN member countries . We need to strengthen and catch up quickly with our existing opportunities , sharing our experiences , hand in hand working together .I strongly believe that this combined meeting of 49th MOS ASM and 11th AAA meeting will bring us together with mutual trust , friendship and educational benefits among leaders and delegates to move forward .
I am also very much proud of successfully hosting this international meeting from which I hope motivation and dedication to the profession will be enlightened .May I wish you all having enjoyable and memorable experience during your stay in congress.
