Dear Colleagues,
It is an honor and great privilege for me to take a chance of chairing this impressive international academic event in the region, 50th Myanmar Orthopedic Annual Scientific Conference and 38th AOA Congress, 2018 in Novotel Hotel, Yangon, Myanmar from 7-9 November,2018.

The theme reflect collaboration, integration and participation of ASEAN countries to look forward into future. As the rapidly growing orthopaedic industries, explosion of knowledge and information communication , expansion and dissemination of innovative research and scientific evidences, the orthopaedic profession and its specialties including arthroplasty ought to adapt and change with reputable and accountable service which meet the needs of people.

I sincerely request you and welcome all of you in the region as well as around the world to be involved in this marvelous academic activities so that we learn each other and discover the realistic opportunities to improve our profession.

Yangon is the hub of business city in Myanmar and authentic city with the remnants of colonial heritages , civilized features of new buildings and mixed fascinating cultural spots with very exciting tourist attracted destinations surrounded by.

We have been prepared this meeting for you as life long memorable experience and most enjoyable academic and social event in this region.

Welcome message from President elect


Dear Colleagues, ,
It is my pleasure to inform you that 50th Annual Scientific Meeting will be held on 6th to 8th
November 2018, in Yangon. The Golden Anniversary will be celebrated at the meeting as well. 38th ASEAN Orthopaedic Association Congress will be convened simultaneously. ASEAN Orthopaedic Societies are one for all and all for one regardless of our different backgrounds and
resources.
Myanmar Orthopaedic Society has more and more members each year. Special Interest
groups are emerging in our society. In the mean time, our society needs unity in diversity. CME
programs, workshops, instructional courses and exchange of update knowledge between Orthopaedic surgeons are essential. In this meeting, local and oversea Orthopaedic surgeons from Asean Countries, from east and west hemispheres will present scientific papers, instructional course lectures, hands-on workshop and lively discussion.
The quality of these presentations reflect the value of the Annual meeting. Orthopaedic colleagues from all over the world are warmly invited to present and participate enthusiastically in the 50th ASM and 38th AOAC.
